The CPT®/RVU 2019 Data File is the definitive resource for the medical practice seeking to import 2019 relative value units (RVUs) and CPT® and HCPCS codes and descriptions into existing claims and billing systems.
This product contains the comprehensive set of CPT and HCPCS procedure codes payable under Medicare and provides all 2019 RVU elements necessary to calculate Medicare's physician fee schedule.
The data file code set descriptors are provided in two file formats:
- Tab-delimited (TXT)
- Pipe-delimited (TXT)
All descriptors are provided in three lengths:
- 28-character short descriptors
- 48-character medium descriptors
- No character limit on long descriptors
The data file provides access to the following content:
- Comprehensive set of CPT® and HCPCS procedure codes payable under Medicare
- Calculate MPFS with every element of the 2019 RVUs: Physician Work; Practice Expense (Facility and Nonfacility); Professional Liability Insurance

Note: A "user" is defined as any individual who accesses, manipulates or uses the data included in the file, either directly or in a software application.
To Be Noted Before Ordering the Data File:
- Data files are non-refundable.
- Use of the data file is subject to the End User License.
- Data files are not software.
- There is no search application. The data file is designed to be used in any database, spreadsheet or other application that accepts a text (.txt) file format. Check with your data processing professional to ensure compatibility.
