Day one: Essential Elements of the AMA Guides Sixth
The first day of this educational seminar will deliver a clear understanding of the AMA Guides® philosophy. Learn the basics of the Guides Sixth, including how to read a report, identify appropriate rating methods, look for red flags and more.

Day two: Accurately Assessing Impairment Using the AMA Guides Sixth—An In-Depth Review
Learn how to accurately apply the AMA Guides methodology and assess impairment using the Guides Sixth. Designed for physicians and the workers' compensation community, day two will cover a step-by-step progression of the impairment calculation for conditions and injuries related to individual body systems.

Marjorie Eskay-Aurbach, MD, JD, FAADEP
, is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and a fellowship-trained spine surgeon. She completed law school at the University of Arizona College of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in May 2000. Dr. Eskay-Aurbach has been working and lecturing in the workers' compensation field since 1994 and has numerous publications and presentations to her credit. She is currently in private practice, evaluating and treating patients with work-related injuries and performing independent medical evaluations. She is a member of the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians' board of directors, a contributing editor to the Guides Sixth, and has authored chapters for several AMA publications.
